Rebecca Campana

Rebecca started dancing at the young age of 2 in Mississauga. After moving to Oakville she continued her training at a local studio and at the age of eight years old Rebecca began dancing at the competitive. Rebecca has been trained in ballet (Royal Academy of Dance), tap, jazz, hip-hop, musical theatre, lyrical, and contemporary. Over her competitive dance career she has competed at a number of competitions across North America winning a numerous overall awards and scholarships.

Rebecca began assisting in classes at the age of 13 and quickly became interested in choreography. She began teaching for the recreational program for her studio in high school and continued to teach at the university level for the Brock University Dance Team. In 2014 Rebecca was hired at a studio in Beamsville, Ontario where she taught recreational and competitive classes while completing her degree in Child and Youth Studies. Rebecca loves to be creative when it comes to her choreography and has experience with choreography in lots of styles, her favourite being contemporary, lyrical and jazz. Over Rebecca’s 10 years of teaching dance, Rebecca has been presented with awards for her choreography, and her students have also been successful receiving special awards and overalls at a number of competitions including Kick It Up, Dance Canada, Bedazzled and many more.

Rebecca’s interest in child development and her love for dance have helped her over the years to develop skills in teaching dance and working with kids. Rebecca moved to Thunder Bay last year to continue her education at Lakehead University and is excited to be back in the studio and apart of theDream Team.
