Emily Pynn

Emily began her dance career at the age of three, training in ballet and tap non-competitively. At the age of six, she joined the competitive stream at Dream Dance Company to pursue what she loved. Through the years she has had the privilege to be trained in several genres of dance such as tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, hip hop, acro, cabaret and musical theatre.

In addition to groups, Emily started doing solos, duets and trios, at the age of seven, in genres including, hip hop, jazz, lyrical and tap. Emily has traveled to many different competitions, as well as the ones in town, and has received many different awards and rankings. She has also attended many in town and out of town workshops. Which consist of 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Elite Dance Force Summer Intensive, LA Hip Hop Intensive at Debbie Allen Dance Academy, New York Tap Festival and many more. Those workshops gave her the privilege to learn from celebrity dancers and choreographers such as Blake McGrath, Twitch, Allison Holker, Nappy Tabs, Ian Eastwood and plenty of others.

While continuing as a dancer and teacher in the studio, Emily is currently a student at St. Ignatius High School and continues to advance in her education as well as her dancing career.

Emily is so excited to be a part of the Dream Dance teaching staff this year, where she can share her passion with dancers of her own.
