Competitive Stream

BalletBallet – is offered at Dream Dance Company from the ages of 5 and up. We believe that ballet is the base style to all other styles of dance. Ballet offers dancers the opportunity to work on essential technical elements such as posture, turnout, control and grace.
JazzJazz – is offered from the ages of 6 and up. It is a strenuous and energetic dance form that encourages dancers to step outside of their comfort zone, think outside the box and try something new. At Dream Dance, jazz is an important style that involves performance skills and helps dancers demonstrate their technical ability and strength.  
LyricalLyrical – is offered at Dream Dance Company for ages 11 and up. It is a more advanced, emotional dance form that allows dancers to portray a story while displaying their technical elements such as balance, coordination and flexibility. Dancers must be willing to take chances and express themselves fully in this flourishing dance form.  
TapTap – is offered for ages 6 and up. The style of tap is greatly based on style and rhythm. It is a fun, entertaining and dynamic style. We encourage dancers to try this style as it improves counts and timing and is a growing style in the dance community. 
Hip Hop – is offered for dancers ages 7/8 and up. It is a swagful style that is great for dancers with tons of attitude and style and are willing to give it their all. It gives dancers the opportunity to show their personalities and add in their own style. 
AcroAcro – is offered for ages 6 and up. Acro is a style that associates various dance forms with tumbling and acrobatic skills. It is a style that demands extensive strength, agility, concentration and flexibilty. It is a powerful style that involves tricks, lifts and flips. Dancers always love this style because it gives them the chance to learn new skills that can be used throughout their other dance styles.
TechniqueTechnique – technique classes are mandatory for dancers who are engaged in the Junior class or higher. The class is based upon bare exercises, across the floor and the basic technical elements needed for all dance style.  
 
Stretch&Strengthen – A full body strength and core conditioning class utilizing a variety of exercises and techniques. This class will target every muscle group while maintaining proper posture and technique and will include a complete body stretch to work on flexibility as well as cardio components. 
Pointe – Pointe classes are designed for students with previous ballet training. This will be a teacher recommended class only. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class will include barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles.
 

Recreational Stream

Parent&Me – is a class designated for beginner dancers 2 years of age and their parent or guardian. This class focuses on the basic elements of tap, jazz, ballet and acro will enhancing parent/child bonds, confidence, and independence. At Dream Dance, we believe it is important for children to begin dance at an early age because it gives them the opportunity to start learning the basics as soon as they can. These dancers have fun in dance class, dancing and learning to suitable, age-appropriate music.  
Kinder Dance – is offered for beginner dancers from the ages of 3-4. It teaches the young dancers all the basic elements of tap, jazz, ballet and very minimal, basic acro skills. At Dream Dance, we believe it is important for children to begin dance at an early age because it gives them the opportunity to start learning the basics as soon as they can. Kinder dancers have fun in dance class, dancing and learning to suitable, age-appropriate music.
Tiny Tot –  is offered for beginner dancers who are 5 years old. It continues to teach dancers all the elements of tap, jazz, ballet and acro skills.
